About Tangie Wells
Tangie S. Wells, FNP-C is a board-certified family nurse practitioner currently seeing patients at North Atlanta Primary Care’s Cartersville clinic.
Tangie was born and raised in Connecticut, where she attended the University of Connecticut and earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She then moved down to Georgia to pursue her Masters of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner at Kennesaw State University. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Tangie is an accomplished, highly skilled Family Nurse practitioner with expertise in primary care, urgent care, internal medicine, pediatric primary care/urgent care, mental health care and acute care. She has strong knowledge of diagnosing physical symptoms and formulating individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages, while staying current with the latest medical knowledge and equipment advancements.
Tangie is a naturally empathetic, passionate, and caring nursing professional with 13 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the specialty of Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant with 10 years of nursing management experience. Tangie’s passion is to provide high-quality patient-centered healthcare. She currently welcomes patients ages 10 and older.
Tangie loves the great outdoors, frequently going boating on Lake Lanier and hiking. She also enjoys doing arts and crafts, photography, and yoga. She loves volunteering to serve her local community and church and doing community service. Tangie loves to spend time with her lovely daughter and her two fur buddies, Teddy and Leland.
