About Jeff Stone
Dr. Jeff Stone is a board-certified family medicine physician and currently sees patients at North Atlanta Primary Care’s Canton location.
Dr. Stone is from Canton, Georgia and attended college at Bucknell University. He then attended grad school at Georgia State University, earning an MBA, MHA. Dr. Stone completed the Albany Medical Center Family Practice Residency Program after St. George’s University School of Medicine.
Dr. Stone has been in practice for 40 years and welcomes new patients of any age. His medical interests include the basics of medicine, surgery, pediatrics, women’s health, and psychiatry. Dr. Stone is involved in the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, the Medical Association of Georgia, Cobb County Medical Society, and is a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Woodstock. He has many professional achievements and accolades, being a past Board Chair & President of The Georgia Academy of Family Physicians and past President of The Cobb County Medical Society. He is a recipient of the 2017 Mercer Preceptor of the Year Award, Beta Gamma Sigma Honor from the J Mack Robinson School of Business, 2012 Distinguished Service Award/WellStar, 2003 Silver Heart Award for Community Service, and 2008 Staff President Memorial Hospital of Albany, New York. He is also a member of Phi Sigma Biology Honor Society.
Dr. Stone likes to spend his free time with his family and enjoys hiking, skiing, kayaking, playing golf, and he loves to travel, especially if he travels with family.
